To mark the opening of our fourth season of tours, the Glass House has launched a new way to experience the site. The Twilight Tour gives visitors the opportunity to tour the Glass House site during the evening with seasonal lighting effects. At certain times of year when the tour coincides with nightfall, visitors will have the rare opportunity to view the Glass House with lighting designed by Richard Kelly, considered one of the pioneers of architectural lighting design.
Every donation of $150 underwrites the preservation of our 14 buildings and structures, artwork, and 47-acre landscape. Additionally, the contributions of our donor community support all of our mission-based programs to foster new ideas and cultivate talent as seen in our Conversations program, Architectural Retreats, Oral History Projects, and Commissions program.
Twilight Tours are held every Thursday evening from 5pm to 7 pm. They offer behind-the-scenes access to the Glass House, Painting Gallery, Sculpture Gallery, Studio / Library, and Da Monsta as well as photography privileges. Along with your ticket purchase, you will also receive the Glass House Visitor Guide, a 20% shop discount, donor recognition, and a membership to the National Trust for Historic Preservation. $100 of each ticket purchase is a tax-deductible donation to the National Trust for Historic Preservation in support of the Glass House site.
