Private Tours

Private Tours are designed to provide an in-depth, detailed look at the Glass House site, including access to five Johnson-designed structures, a collection of contemporary art and design, and expansive views of the 47-acre landscape.

Customized to fit your interests, Private Tours are two hours in length and include special photography privileges throughout the property. In addition, donors may enjoy experiencing a Private Tour of the Glass House site that includes refreshments following the tour served on the porch of Calluna Farms, a 19c structure on the Glass House site and the former residence of David Whitney.

Private Tours are available by appointment daily, except Tuesdays, for two to ten people with a donation of $250 per person. $200 per guest is a tax-deductible donation to the National Trust for Historic Preservation in support of the Glass House site. Private Tour + Four Seasons Dinner

Enjoy an exclusive offering from the Philip Johnson Glass House and the Four Seasons Restaurant – the perfect experience for lovers of culture and cuisine. These two modern icons have joined together to offer a unique experience – a two-hour Private Tour of the Glass House site and a three course dinner at the Four Seasons Restaurant in New York.

Guests will begin with a Private Tour designed to provide a customized, in-depth look at the Glass House site. They will then travel on their own to the Four Seasons Restaurant, designed by Philip Johnson, for a celebratory three-course dinner, including champagne and special wines selected by owners Alex von Bidder and Julian Niccolini.

The Glass House Private Tour + Four Seasons package is available by appointment daily, except Tuesdays at a rate of $400 per person. $200 per guest is a tax-deductible donation to the National Trust for Historic Preservation in support of the Glass House site. Bookings are limited and based on availability.
