What is the Glass House
Community?
The
Glass House Community is a diverse group of modern enthusiasts who
support the Glass House, the center for modernism of the National Trust
for Historic Preservation. Each visitor to the Philip
Johnson Glass House and every donor that supports us becomes a
vital part of the Glass House community contributing to the dynamic
dialogue of Modern preservation.
Who is the Glass House
Community?
Donors
represent cultural organizations, work for
leading design firms, teach at
academic institutions, travel the globe as
modern architecture tourists, are
thought leaders participating in our
ongoing dialogue on modernism, artists
responding to the site, students
participating hands-on, and corporate
leaders seeking a creative catalyst.
How can I become
involved?
The Glass
House welcomes donors at all giving levels. Your donation inspires us
and funds our ability to deliver our mission. As a donor of the Glass
House, you are supporting a site budget of $1.9 million which sustains
and supports:
- The Glass House's 47-acre site
- Educational programs that continue the site’s legacy as a place of innovation
- On-site preservation initiatives to conserve artwork and modern buildings
